Brown Boy Finger Factory

Just made some finger molds and hand-painted them.

Wascal Boy Video

My friends and I have been working together as the group known as 2 Grandmaz to make videos, photos, and various other things. We frequently have no idea what we’re doing and we usually get really depressed and cranky by the end of a project because we feel like we tried too hard or it wasn’t funny/aesthetically pleasing. Above is a video for a character we ended up not liking very much. I think it is a good documentation of how we improvise, brainstorm, and ultimately decide that what we spent 5 hours on wasn’t as good as we had hoped.

Tillie Painting

My friend Cory asked me to do a painting of Tillie for his store that he is opening in Asbury Park. I started it three days ago with the intention of finishing it today. I took three photos with a self-timer. Here is a .gif

Animation Preview

Image

I’m working on an animation for a graphic design studio who is celebrating its anniversary soon. They are also re-branding their “M” icon for the anniversary. All of the animations will have a theme of transformation from the old M to the new M. Here are some screen shots.

Alien Walk Cycle

I’ve been working on my animation skills. Today I learned how to do walk cycles. Above is my first attempt. I messed up three of the frames by forgetting to complete the cycle of the arm swing. You’ll notice both arms kind of jerk back and forth. Below is the walk cycle completed the right way.

Button Packs

I recently assembled a whole butt-load of button packs which are be available through my store. The idea is that you can buy a bunch and mix and match the face components. Currently there are two types of skin colors available: pasty and brown. There are also limited edition hand-cut/hand-collaged button packs with iridescent skin colors. Ch-ch-check it out!

Guts Paintings

Just finished these a couple days ago. You might think they are screen-printed, but they are actually hand-painted.

I should have screen-printed them because they represent 24 hours of my life that I will never get back.

Drooly Girl Buttons!

I just got a whole sack of these printed. You can buy them from my new storefront over here.

Alien Head Stickers

I’m working on a pretty decent sized pile. I’m almost ready to distribute them around the town.
